everything was brilliant as ever. I also enjoyed watching many of the other matches. The reason I give 4 stars for level is that, in my grade (D), there were always seem to be some weirdly good unrated players. I do know how this has happened .. evidently they were often very good coached juniors who have only played internal leagues at Uni and come along to this event ... some of them are very good! It's not a complaint just an observation really. All in all another fantastic event thank you to the organisers. The event is obviously well supported by uni students .. it seems a shame to me that more club players do not enter. I rarely see players from my own club. Still, as long as you fill the places, that's fine - their loss!!!

The seeding was completely messed up in the B grade. The monrad format only works well if players are seeded correctly otherwise, people finish in a higher/lower position than they should, and matches are often heavily 1 sided. At minimum, 1/2 of the draw should be seeded. At the time the draws were originally released, the seeding did not reflect the squash levels of the players
