***NEW 3 ROUND FORMAT*** This has been introduced to make the tournament more fun and punchy and is used successfully in various other countries. NB. There are two rounds on the Saturday but this does mean you need to be at the courts all day.

PLAYING TIMES:
Friday Night - Round 1
Saturday - MORNING SESSION 8-12PM - Round 2
Saturday - AFTERNOON SESSION 1-5PM - Round 3
followed by a short prize-giving and a long braai and party

The draws will be published 3 days before the start of the tournament

RULES OF ENTRY

1. Eligibility: All players are eligible to enter.
2. Entries: Entries for the championships must be received no later than the 2nd March 2018. No Telephone entries will be accepted under any circumstances.
3. All sections Swiss Pairing events consisting of 8 players..
4. Draw: The Draw will be circulated on the 6th of March. All entrants will be notified of their draw, so please ensure that your entry is completed in full. Please make contact with the Tournament Convener if you have not been notified.
5. Rules: The Championships will be played according to the rules of Squash SA.
6. Scoring: PAR Scoring will be used for this tournament.
7. Balls: The Dunlop Pro Revelation Ball will be supplied for the final day.
8. Marking: It is mandatory for all players to mark/referee the match following their match, unless other officials are available.
9. Entry Fee: The entry fee is R150 payable before the start of the tournament or at registration.
10. Playing Times: All players must be ready to play at their appointed times. If a player is not ready to play 10 minutes after the appointed time he/she will be scratched (unless the Tournament Referee decides otherwise).
11. Clothing and Advertising: According to Squash SA rules (available on request).
12. Code of Conduct: Squash SA’s Code of Conduct will be in force.


PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE AVAILABLE TO PLAY FROM 5PM ON FRIDAY THE 9TH MARCH AND FOR BOTH THE MORNING AND AFTERNOON SESSIONS ON SATURDAY THE 10TH OF MARCH. (MORNING SESSION 8-12PM , AFTERNOON SESSION 1-5PM). WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR PLAYERS ARRIVING LATE AND CAUSING DELAYS IN THE DRAW. JUST A REMINDER THAT YOU WILL BE SCRATCHED SHOULD YOU NOT BE READY TO PLAY WITHIN 10 MINS OF YOUR APPOINTED TIME.
